Vellus hair is naturally very fine, light, and soft, and removing it doesn’t change how it grows. When it starts to grow back, it can sometimes feel slightly different simply because the tip has been blunted by the blade rather than naturally tapered but rest assured, the hair’s colour, thickness, and growth rate all remain exactly the same.
Unlike terminal hair (such as the hair on your scalp or brows), vellus hair isn’t affected by hormones or shaving methods.
